We love how open and airy this residence in Washington State is; it’s floor to ceiling windows, but the thick borders and architecture keep it from being too cold and modern. The warm wood definitely brings a warm, friendly, inviting feeling to the space, but the clean lines and sleek angles let you know you are in a modern house. We like the way other materials and furnishings enhance the space, but also how the architecture’s built environment is meant to enhance conversation and living.
