We first spotted the designs of the furniture company Thoughtwood on Design Milk, and upon further examination, realized we had a perfect candidate for our Emerging Designer posts. Creative, clever and young, this hip little company has some exciting things it its future.

Helmed by Rob Davies (who, though young, has an impressive background full of furniture training), Thoughtwood looks to focus on quality craftsmanship, thoughtful materials and clever designs.

The style so far seems to be a bit heavy aesthetically, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. S
